An Overview: Sri Ram Sena

Now a day I have been getting hold of this group. A handful of men from a group thought of deciding how others should behave in Mangalore(south India). The group is called Sri Ram Sena. Here's the history of the group and the man who founded it.Sri Rama Sena is a pro-Hindu apolitical organization based in Hubli. There was nationwide outrage, as the images of the Mangalore pub incident scarred the collective psyche of a nation that's celebrating Republic Day.Pramod Muthalik is the man who laid the foundation of the right-wing Hindu group called the Sri Ram Sena.
Pramod said that whoever has done this has done a good job. Girls going to pubs is not acceptable. So, whatever the Sena members did was right. You are highlighting this small incident to malign the BJP government in the state.
Pramod a full-time RSS man earlier, was the Karnataka coordinator of the Bajrang Dal four years ago. Soon he was expelled from the Bajrang Dal after which he joined the Shiv Sena and later he formed his own group. That is what happen in India all the time.
This isn't the first time the Sri Ram Sena has indulged in moral policing. This is sadly not an isolated incident of groups taking the law into their own hands. Churches and prayer halls around Mangalore were attacked just a few months ago over alleged conversions. In Bangalore, rave parties on the outskirts of the city were raided - not by police - but by members of the Kannada Rakshana Vedike. As well as in August, 2008, it vandalised an exhibition of M F Husain's paintings in Delhi. However the group also finds mention in the Malegaon(Maharashtra) blast chargesheet filed by the Maharashtra Police. In the transcript of a conversation, the prime accused Colonel Purohit is quoted saying, "The Shri Ram Sena is doing very good work. Purohit calls the leader of the group as Muthalik. In an interview given to a website, Muthalik staunchly defended Sadhvi Pragya Thakur, another key accused in the Malegaon blast case, saying she is innocent. And now he's dismissing the Mangalore pub attack as a small incident.

We have a lot to worry about other than Obama's jacket

If you did not vote for Barack Obama, I would imagine most of you will have nothing good to say for the next 4 to 8 years. When it comes to making the economy run like it should be running, you guys just need to chill out. I don't care if President Obama does not wear a jacket.
what if he was nervous and got little hot? I mean to say its his first day in the Oval office. Probably the most important job in the world, Right now you got the best country with the worst economic situation its ever been in on your syllabus. Thats enough to make anyone break out in a sweat! Let alone all these dang on people around taking pictures! What is going to be difficult is for all of you to realize that we all have good ideas. We need best of breed technology. The sad truth is that we own it as of now, but if we keep fighting over things that waste our time , we will truly lose our innovation. The good news is that in the time of crisis we really do have tremendous opportunites to move forward and secure a solid future for all Americans as well as all the world.
I don't really care what the man wears to work as long as he gets the job done! we have a lot to worry about in the next 4 to 8 years.

Hamas announces ceasefire

After a long waiting Hamas has announces ceasefire an immediate, week-long end to hostilities in the with Tel Aviv that killed over 1,200 people. Damascus-based Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal declared on Syrian television that the Islamic group would implement the cease-fire and give Israeli troops one week to pull out of the Gaza Strip."We the Palestinian resistance factions declare a cease-fire from our side in Gaza and we confirm our stance that the enemy's troops must withdraw from Gaza within a week," said Damascus-based Hamas official Moussa Abu Marzouk. Israel must end the blockade and open the border crossings, said a statement without elaborating. A leader of the Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip said that his group agreed to the Hamas truce, adding that other smaller Palestinian factions have signed on, as well. As Israel earlier today declared a unilateral ceasefire, the Palestinian militants fired a barrage rockets into the Jewish state hours after the "fragile" truce took hold stoking fears of fresh violence. The group is determined not to emerge as the obvious loser of the conflict – which makes the presence of Israeli troops inside its stronghold hard to swallow. The group will also have noticed that Mr Olmert did not make any mention of Gaza’s border crossings, which Hamas as well as Egypt and much of the international community want to see opened as soon as possible

The presentation of the Aryan Migration Theory (AMT)

Unfortunately for India, the so-called intellectuals and secularists refuse to accept that India had a history even before Islamic invasion and any other thing. They believe that Indian history starts only from the date when the Muslims demolished Hindu temples during their invasions.A US-based Hindu advocacy group has taken strong objection to historian Michael Wood's documentary ‘The Story of India,’ being telecast on public television, describing its presentation of the Aryan Migration Theory (AMT) as ‘agenda driven.’ Rejecting the theory, the Hindu American Foundation (HAF) said India has always been the cradle of Hindu civilization and there is no debate about it. "Michael Wood clearly admires India and its people, and this shows through in his passionate depiction of India," said Sheetal Shah, HAF's Director of Development and Outreach. "We are not seeking to discredit the 'Story of India' in its entirety, but viewers should be aware that a major error was made in the documentary that fails scrutiny and should be corrected,"I think if anybody looks at any "Panchang" you can find how accurately the astrologers are calculating the solar and lunar eclipses without the help of any modern scientific equipment. Similarly, you can find that modern maths is mostly derived vedic maths. One will understand this only if one talks to knowledgeable people without prejudice.India has a great civilization in the past, now we have the worst civilization where we are the world leaders in corruption and discrimination. And any person with sense can see that there are more similarities between a north indian and people living in pakistan and afganistanin physical apprearance. The people in south is entirely different in looks from those people who lives in northern part of india and the current pakistan, afganistan, Iran etc.
The Hindu advocacy group said it has received a deluge of phone calls protesting the presentation of the ‘now discredited’ theory, currently being shown on television. The AMT theorises that in 1500 BCE pastoral tribes that came to be known as Aryans, migrated from Central Europe to Northwest India eventually dispersing indigenous people and imposing their own culture. "This theory, that is not supported by archaeological evidence, was first posited by European Indologists and British colonialists, eventually finding support from a section of India's politically motivated linguists and historians such as Romila Thapar, and famously, controversial Harvard linguist, Michael Witzel," she said. This theory, the HAF believes, is ‘agenda-driven’. In his documentary, HAF says, Wood holds that the early Hindu practice of worshipping devas, or demigods representing elements, ‘somehow implies that these practices were imported from Central Asia.’ While referring ‘obliquely’ to the Aryan Migration Theory as controversial, HAF said, Wood fails to present contrary evidence that many scientists believe refutes the claim that the progenitors of Hindu civilisation came from west of the Hindu Kush mountains of Afghanistan. "There is no debate that India was always the cradle of Hindu civilisation, and the Vedas, the Hindu's holiest scriptures, are the recorded history of our ancestors," said Suhag Shukla, HAF's Managing Director. Indian history is too old and mantras vedas are done in the past where we doesnt have proper date "We strongly oppose the insulting theory--advanced by agenda-driven activist historians that our rishis, the great sages who composed the Vedas, were foreign to India, and Wood does viewers a disservice in not presenting both sides of the coin, in an otherwise admirable work," he said.
The AMT is reviled by many Hindus, he said, due to its implicit proposition that a tribe of ‘Aryans’ migrated into the Indian subcontinent, subjugated an indigenous people dispersing them to South India and established a caste system where the highest castes are comprised of ‘Aryans’ in an ethno-religious apartheid system.
This ‘explosive theory’ that narrates that Aryans were only the first colonizers -- followed by Greeks, Mongols, Turks, Persians was used by European historians to justify the last foreign claim on India, the British Raj.
However, he asserted, it is the latest genetic evidence, based on chromosomal and DNA analysis, that scientists believe definitively discredits the AMT.

Cops Kill Unarmed Black Man (so sad)

When I see this first time I was shocked as well as surprised . Why the police Officer did that? we can't figure it out until and unless the court prove it. think that there was no reason to kill that man even if he did have any thing to do with the altercration on the train. A videotape recorded by a passenger on the train shows an officer with the Bay-Area California Rapid Transit Police Department standing over Oscar Grant III of Hayward, CA as he is laying facedown and handcuffed. The officer then appears to fire a bullet into Grant's back as fellow officers look on. The shooting took place just before 2 AM, after five officers arrived at the Fruitvale stati on in response to reports of a fight on a train. It has not been confirmed whether Grant was involved in the altercation. When will this crazy mess end? I really do not understand what was the motive behind for this!! This is completely terrible and miserable for the family, and I hope the officer responisible for this is brought to justice!

We are tightening the encirclement of the city

Israeli ground forces were involved in fierce clashes with the Hamas as troops tightened their hold around Gaza city with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert warning that the Islamic militants face an "IRON FIST". As the Israeli offensive against Hamas entered its 18th day, ground forces tightened their hold around the Gaza. Israeli military said troops were "tightening the encirclement of the city" as forces pushed deeper into the populated areas of the enclave where more than 900 Palestinians, nearly half of them women and children have killed. Ehud Olmert(Israeli PM) threatened to hit Hamas with an "iron fist" if it did not end the rocket attacks which Tel Aviv aims to end. Olmert said Israel's key demands were non-negotiable. "We want to end the operation when the two conditions we have demanded are met: ending the rocket fire and stopping Hamas's rearmament. If these two conditions are met, we will end our operation in Gaza," he said. "Anything else will meet the iron fist of the Israeli people, who are no longer ready to tolerate the Qassams (rockets)." Israeli military spokesman said nearly 30 missiles launched from Gaza yesterday, but no casualties were reported. "We are tightening the encirclement of the city," the offensive's commander, Brigadier Eyal Eisenberg, told reporters. "We are not static. We are careful to be constantly on the move." The defiant Hamas showed no signs of wavering. Gaza's Hamas prime minister said the the militants were "closer to victory." the fighting started on dec.27 and uptill today it has killed more than 900 Palestinians, about half of them civilians, 13 Israelis, including 10 soldiers killed. Israeli jets and attack helicopters pounded suspected Hamas positions in Gaza City, particularly the homes of the Islamic militant leadership. The strikes came as Israeli troops advanced into the highly-populated suburbs of Gaza City. Israeli forces clashed with Hamas fighters across the Gaza Strip after Tel Aviv poured reserve troops on Monday as it pushed deeper into the heavily populated coastal enclave in further escalation of the conflict. The fighting came amid continued diplomacy in Egypt, whose officials were talking with Hamas representatives about a possible truce. We can't figure out what going to haapen next.
The operation is ongoing, alongside our monitoring of diplomatic efforts. We heard on Monday, and we respect, the request by UN Secretary-General and we are also monitoring the treatment of the Egyptian initiative," Barak was quoted as saying by the Israeli daily Haaretz.

Bush takes last Air Force One flight

President George W Bush had to be reminded that he was taking his last scheduled trip aboard Air Force One. After Barack Obama is sworn into office on January 20, Bush will fly again on the familiar blue-and-white presidential aircraft, but it won't be called Air Force One because he no longer will be the president."I don't think it had dawned on him that it was his last flight on Air Force One," White House press secretary Dana Perino told reporters on the plane as it returned to Washington from Norfolk, Virginia, where he commissioned the Navy's newest ship, the USS George H W Bush, named after his father. Bush's father told the sailors that "the freedom we seek and the peace we desire can only be found in the countless sacrifices you will make in everyday tasks you will perform."After a reporter mentioned it, the president said, "You know, you're right," Perino said, adding that he was moved by the commissioning ceremony."His whole family is here and that's all that matters to him," she added.Members of the Bush family and some of the president's friends, who attended the commissioning ceremony, shared the roughly 40-minute flight with Bush back to Washington.
After it returned to Andrews Air Force Base, just outside Washington in suburban Maryland, the Boeing 747, wet from rain, was towed into a hangar.Once inside, Bush got off and spent about 25 minutes visiting privately with members of the Presidential Airlift Group.First lady Laura Bush, their daughters, Barbara Bush and Jenna Hager, and her husband, Henry Hager, joined him in thanking the dozens of flight attendants, maintenance workers and others who handle everything from food to fuel for Air Force One.

Obama to swear on Lincoln Bible on Jan 20

President-elect Barack Obama would not only take the oath of US Presidency swearing in on the Bible used by the former President Abraham Lincoln, but will also have on his lunch menu that afternoon the food eaten by Lincoln after his inauguration. Soon after being sworn in as the 44th President of the United States , Obama would have his first lunch hosted by the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies at the historic Statuary Hall at the US Capitol. Approximately 200 guests including the new President, Vice President, members of their families, the Supreme Court and Cabinet designees, and members of Congressional leadership will attend the luncheon. The details of the luncheon have been designed to reflect the theme of the 2009 Inaugural ceremonies, "A New Birth of Freedom," celebrating the bicentennial of the birth of President Abraham Lincoln, the Congressional Committee said.
The menu, created by Design Cuisine, a catering company based in Arlington, Virginia, draws on historic ties to the Presidency of Abraham Lincoln, who led the nation during the civil war. Obama, who visited the Lincoln memorial along with his family, has described the leader as his "extraordinary inspiration," and has also inducted a number political rivals, including Hillary Clinton, into his cabinet in a strategy reminiscent of the "team of rivals" approach of Lincoln. Growing up in the frontier regions of Kentucky and Indiana, the 16th President favoured simple food including root vegetables and wild game. With time he became fond of stewed and scalloped oysters.

The Roots of Terrorism

Among the array of challenges facing Barack Obama in his first year in office will be the ongoing struggle against terrorism, both at home and abroad. As the vicious terrorist attacks in Mumbai in November and the recent Hamas rocket attacks against Israel made clear, no nation involved in international politics and commerce is free from the threat of political violence. The past few years have shown that civilization rests on a much more precarious footing than we might have believed even a decade ago.
But who is the real enemy in the global fight against terrorism? Even to call this conflict a “war on terror” is misleading, given that our enemies are of such disparate origins and intentions. Sweeping generalizations—that our enemy is the Islamofascist, the Muslim fanatic, the anarchist, the ignorant youth—are often harmful in the formation of any effective response to terrorism.
A sincere yet harmful truism is that our real enemy is ignorance, that if our opponents could be freed of propaganda and false conceptions, their rage against Euro-American civilization would abate. But any truthful analysis of terrorist motives requires the concession that the real root cause of their actions is resentment. Often enough, education actually leads not to greater appreciation for Western culture, but to even deeper antipathy. The hijackers of Sept. 11, 2001, are a case in point. Many of the attackers had achieved high levels of education as engineers, scientists and academics. Many studied abroad, and several—ringleader Mohammad Atta among them—would fit the definition of upwardly mobile young professionals. Nevertheless, they were seduced by an ideology that convinced them that their death, and the deaths of thousands of innocents, was the appropriate response to their condition.
While scholars like Lawrence Wright, author of The Looming Tower, the best-selling study of Islamic terrorism, have shown the powerful influence of fundamentalist religious beliefs in terrorist recruitment, groups like Al Qaeda gain from the religious and from the resentful, drawing devotees from those who find that the adoption of Western economic and social practices does not always translate into economic opportunity or social progress. Oftentimes the very technological advances that should have led to greater upward mobility—the Internet and global communications among them—have provided terrorist groups with the means to link up previously isolated cells. Access to the media has two ill effects, offering greater awareness of severe economic disparities and an introduction to a global entertainment environment profoundly at odds with the religious and cultural sensibilities of many peoples.
Another alarming portent of future terror is the real possibility of widespread state failure. In its most recent analysis of global trends, the National Intelligence Council suggested that by 2025, as many as 36 nations (with a total population of 1.4 billion) will face shortages of fresh water and sustainable food supplies. A number of these nations, which are overwhelmingly in Africa and the Middle East, are already unable to provide consistent law and order. These same countries are also experiencing a “youth bulge” of young men and women now entering adulthood.
State failure also represents a failure of compassion on the part of the wealthy and stable nations of the world. Imperiled nations support exactly the populations among whom resentment will be strongest if the world community fails them, if instead of jobs and security they find chaos, disease and suffering. In the past, the international community has failed to intervene effectively when neglected situations became humanitarian catastrophes, with Zimbabwe and Somalia as prime examples. As Pope Benedict XVI noted in his visit to the United Nations last year, the “duty to protect” is not just an internal matter for nations, but an international duty.
It is crucial that the United States abandon the rhetoric that casts the international struggle against terrorism exclusively in terms of a crusade against religious fanaticism. The anger that accompanies the ongoing and worsening social ills among the world’s poorest populations also contributes mightily to terror’s allure. Remedying such widespread resentment will not be easy, and cannot be done alone. A reasonable beginning would include greater international cooperation on sustainable development, renegotiation of lopsided trade agreements, a rethinking of the economics of globalization and an end to military and political unilateralism on the part of the United States. All this will, of course, require money—but far less than the world will spend combating the terror and violence that will otherwise flourish amid the ruins.

The teenagers are accused of making anti-Semitic insults toward a girl

The teenagers are accused of making anti-Semitic insults toward the 14-year-old Jewish girl, pushing her to the ground and kicking her as she was leaving school in the northern Paris suburb of Villiers-le-Bel and she was lightly injured in the attack. It is because of tensions around Europe over the fighting in Gaza. That is what always happens when the two countries fight on the religious basis.Even though that girl is not responsible for Israel's actions. She is not guilty of anything.
A juvenile court judge filed preliminary charges against 4 French teenagers accused of attacking a Jewish girl .Three of the four teenagers are accused of violence with a religious or ethnic motive, and the fourth is accused of failing to prevent a crime, the official said. The official was not authorized to be named because the investigation is ongoing. The four defendants aged between 13 and 15 are not in custody but are under judicial supervision. Under French law, preliminary charges allow for further investigation before a magistrate determines whether to send the case to trial. Investigators suspect the attackers used the Israeli offensive in Gaza as a pretext, the judicial official said.

France has Western Europe's largest Jewish and Muslim communities and a history of anti-Semitic violence flaring when tensions in the Middle East are high.

Sarah Palin Hits Back at Persistent

Palin said that I never saw the interview after Katie edited it she added my understanding was so many more topics that were brought up weren't portrayed as accurately as they should have been. The personal, salacious nature of recent reporting, and often the refusal of the media to correct obvious mistakes, unfortunately discredits too many in journalism today, making it difficult for many Americans to believe what they see in the media," she says in a new statement. A lot of people are capitalizing (on my fame)," Palin says, noting that Fey won plenty of accolades for her performance.
And how does she react to sketches that poke fun at her family including her then-pregnant daughter Bristol? She said that a mama grizzly rises up in me," she says. "Cool, fine, come attack me. But when you make a [mockery] of a kid, it kills me." Still, Palin says she'd return to SNL. Why? "You have to be able to laugh at yourself.
As clips from the documentary hit the web, Palin responded again, alleging that her quotes were used in some stories that changed their context.

Hot Paris Hilton talk about her sex life

Socialite heiress Paris Hilton claims she has had sex only with "a couple" of partners. because she respects herself too much. The announcement came contrary to the singer-actress' image as she is one of Hollywood's most notorious party girls and is rarely seen without a man In recent years, she has been on and off of various relationships like with model Jason Shaw and Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis, Backstreet Boy band member Nick Carter, film producer Rick Salomon and another Greek shipping heir, Stavros Niarchos III.
Paris has had relationships with former Backstreet Boy Nick Carter and Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden, but is currently single. Paris says she has just kissed the majority of her suitors, and plays “hard to get” to ensure men are serious about dating her.

She was also in the news for ending her nine-month old relationship with Good Charlotte band rocker Benji Madden in November last year. But, the socialite is adamant she has only ever slept with "a couple" of men, one of which was Salomon, who featured in her infamous X-rated home video, reports thesun.co.uk

she added that I've only ever done it with a couple of people. People make up stories, but mostly I just kiss. I think it's important to play hard to get. If you give it up to a guy he won't respect you. He'll want you much more if he can't have you.
ya Paris you are right but I think you are not telling us the real truth.

Most of them are terrorists

Whether or not you hold any spiritual belief, you may agree with me that politically and economically, the existence of one country depends on another. Anyone who wishes the disappearance of an entire group of people are the truth filth of the earth. I always respected Israel for their bravery since I know little about them. They´ve just gone Crezy . Hamas terroroists are hiding among civilians. Look at this video and others like this- most of the "victims" are men- in Gaza most of them are terrorists, who would destroy entire western civilization if that is possible for them There is absolutely no difference between Hamas and Al-Qaeda. Israelis never intentionally kill inocent civilians, that's what "Palestinians" has been doing from years.

Tim Kaine will run the Democratic National Committee

Barack Obama formally announced that Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine, one of the president-elect’s closest allies who was once on the short list to become his running mate, will run the Democratic National Committee.
Appearing with Kaine at DNC headquarters in Washington, Obama said the party must build on his campaign’s success by reaching out to Americans in every state and recruiting new candidates that share his governing philosophy. We must build a movement for change that can endure beyond a single election.
he said that the man for that job is Kaine. Obama called the Virginia governor a progressive problem-solver who also understands that “politics is tough.”
He praised Kaine’s legislative record in the commonwealth, particularly his plans to expand early education access and fix Virginia’s clogged roadways, even though the governor has been forced to scale back those initiatives because of budget constraints.
Obama said Kaine — who will serve as governor and chairman simultaneously until his term in Richmond expires in January 2010 — is the right man “to remake the Democratic party to better meet the challenges of the 21st century.”
Kaine listed three goals, beginning with a promise to be “a passionate and positive promoter” of Obama’s agenda and to “carry a proud banner for a proud party.”He said he was “most excited” to develop new ways to engage voters, much like the Obama campaign did throughout the 2008 presidential race.
The story of this campaign was less about the inspiration and more about the organization.
Despite the noticeable absence of current DNC chair Howard Dean, who was traveling to American Samoa, both men praised Dean as a “visionary” because of his implementation of the so-called “50-state strategy” that funneled party resources to traditionally Republican regions of the country. Kaine said he has “huge shoes to fill.Although the announcement was billed a “press conference,” the pair did not take any questions from reporters.
After the event, the DNC announced that the veteran political organizer Jennifer O'Malley Dillon, who worked for John Edwards in 2008, will be the party’s executive director.

More Than 10 million US jobs will be lost in 2009

Dec. 5 announcement by the Bureau of Labor Statistics provided yet more evidence that the economy is losing jobs at the fastest pace in more than three decades. "It's very clear that the U.S. is in a pretty deep recession. There really aren't any safe harbors in this storm, More than 10 million US jobs will be lost in 2009 a staggering number that can shrink US GDP by more than 15%. Economy lost more jobs in 2008 than in any year since the end of World War II as workers got fired in all sectors including homebuilders and automakers to banks and retailers. Companies are cutting jobs to try to preserve profits—or minimize losses—at a time when consumer demand is abruptly drying up and banks are tightening lending standards. An all-out effort by the federal government to provide fiscal and monetary stimulus should get gross domestic product growing again by the second half of 2009, many economists believe. But even after GDP is growing, companies are likely to keep shedding jobs. Wachovia predicts that the unemployment rate will keep rising until mid-2010, topping out around 9%.
People, who are losing their jobs, are never finding equally lucrative jobs again. The unemployment now is replacing the underemployment. But those who are finding new employment are also under-employed. That never happened in the great depression of thirties. What it means is that the US standard of living is diminishing steadily over time as debt replaces wealth, indigenous talents decay and get replaced by borrowed foreign talents.
The jobless rate is expected to climb to 7 percent in December from 6.7 percent the prior month. The American manufacturing base is crumbling. Factories, which make up 12 percent of the economy, shrank in December at the fastest pace in 28 years as new orders for products from cars to furniture reached the lowest level since records began in 1948, the Institute for Supply Management reported last week.

Woman Discovers She has Two Wombs

A woman from London, Lindsay Hasaj assumed she was a pretty ordinary person for the first 27 years of her life. She had a nice job in financial sales, got married in July and two months later became pregnant.
But within weeks of the news, Hasaj went to the hospital with abdominal pain. Soon after, doctors discovered she had two sets of reproductive organs; two vaginas, two cervixes and two wombs."It was one of the awful cases of being in the room with the sonographer and they're being quiet and evading your questions," said Hasaj. "Then they get up and say: 'Sorry I have to see one of my superiors.'"
Hasaj said she was left lying on the examination table in a panic, at most imagining an ectopic pregnancy. Minutes later the superior came in to look and said quite matter-of-factly, "Oh, by the way you have two wombs and two cervixes," Hasaj said.
"Oh, my husband was absolutely devastated. His first concern was for my health," said Hasaj of her husband, Tony Hasaj. "But this is our first child and it's very much a longed-for child, so we are both walking on eggshells at the moment."
Doctors told Hasaj that she was really very lucky to have conceived so easily and that the baby seemed fine. The pain, it turned out, was only a coincidence and caused by a common ovarian cyst. "Everything was on the right side, the baby's in the womb on the right side, the cyst was on the ovary on the right side," said Hasaj.
But after that strange announcement came the news that the pregnancy would be high risk. Hasaj's doctor, who was unavailable for an interview, estimated in news reports that she had a 60 percent to 65 percent chance of having a healthy baby at the end of a full-term pregnancy.
Studies of womb malformations estimate that one in 3,000 women have Hasaj's condition of uterus didelphys, according to Dr. Ed Huang, associate director of the OB/GYN Residency Program at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
However, in Huang's experience, a double uterus is much rarer. In 14 years of experience as a doctor, caring for 30,000 women, Huang said he has only seen four cases like Hasaj's

Obama to Congress: Act Now, Act Boldly

US President-elect Barack Obama appealed directly to the American public to back his "whole new approach" to rescuing the nation's economy, warning that failure to act now would mean a economic downturn that could "linger for years."
In a major speech on the economy delivered at George Mason University in Virginia, Obama emphasized the urgency of having Congress pass a massive economic plan that he has yet to unveil in significant detail. He described the country's current fiscal situation as "a crisis unlike any we have seen in our lifetime."
"If nothing is done, this recession could linger for years," Obama warned. "The unemployment rate could reach double digits. Our economy could fall $1 trillion short of its full capacity, which translates into more than $12,000 in lost income for a family of four."
Although he won't become president for another 12 days, Obama has made clear he is hoping to have Congress approve by mid-Frebruary a gigantic spending plan his advisers have indicated might cost between $675 billion and $775 billion. Others insist it may cost more.
Obama and his economic team have described it as a mix of tax breaks for businesses and the middle class, and robust spending for public works, energy, health care and education, which he estimates will save or create 3 million jobs over the next few years."It is not just another public works program," he said that "There are millions of Americans trying to find work, even as, all around the country, there is so much work to be done.
Obama spelled out in broad terms today what much of the money would be spent on, including:
Doubling the production of alternative energy in the next three years.
Modernizing more than 75 percent of federal buildings and 2 million homes to make them more energy efficient.

Modernizing more than 75 percent of federal buildings and 2 million homes to make them more energy efficient.
Computerizing all of America's medical records within five years.
Equipping thousands of schools and colleges with modern classrooms, labs and libraries.

A smiling Jeniffer was spotted being wheeled on a roll-away hospital bed as she was taken to her room. A blanket was draped over her, and it appeared that she was holding the baby. Shortly after, the hospital staff brought in a portable bassinet and heart monitor to check on the baby.

What US did with Japan in 1945: I like it...

Pakistan dismissed as "NOT CREDIBLE" evidence provided by India to it on the Mumbai terror attacks, hours after a Presidential aide termed as "premature" local media reports that suggested the material given by New Delhi was insufficient. They questioned the credibility of the evidence on the Mumbai attacks provided by India.the first thing came in my mind when I came to know that we are planning to give evidence to Pak.. I just laughed..Our country used to be A Tiger..but now you can better guess.... They claimed that India had not given any "credible evidence" about the Mumbai incident. Pakistan wants credible information in accordance with the law.It is crystal clear that this failed nation of terrorists will never accept the Truth. The dossier submitted by India had some details that were "not credible", Bashir said during the session that was open to the media. Pakistan further added that Indian charges of state links to Mumbai attacks diverted focus from terror fight. We should take some action..you know what When Israel can protect it's own people without bothering about the world, why cant we? Why do we need America's permission for our own security? Did America ask us or anyother country before they invaded Iraq? In an apparent reference to India's demand for Pakistan to hand over terror suspects linked to the Mumbai attacks, Bashir said there was no extradition treaty between the two countries.
Referring to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's comments that the Mumbai incident had the support of Pakistan's official agencies, Bashir said the remarks had made the regional situation "more tense". Bashir accused India of pushing the region towards war. If India takes any military action against Pakistan, it would be its "biggest mistake".
Khan and Bashir also charged India with being responsible for escalating tensions on the basis of the Mumbai attacks. He accused India of making efforts to isolate Pakistan in the international community. Pakistan has countered this by "forcefully" presenting its position before the world, Khan added. Khan also claimed that India had not pulled back its forces from forward bases.
He said it was unfortunate that India was pointing a finger at Pakistan's official agencies after initially blaming "non-state actors" for the Mumbai incident. Except Pakistan the whole world knows that Pak citizens are involved and the state machinery was used. There is a saying 'you can noy wake up a person who is pretending to sleep' Are we still waiting for some miracle to happen? It's not gonna haapen? Why can't we learn a lesson from Israel or US? How can a small country like Pakistan dare to comment that it would be India's biggest mistake if it takes any military action against them? You know what US did with Japan in 1945 I like such think...there is saying in Hindi" Na Rahengi Bas Na Bajegi Basuri".

Washington Lobby Day" on January 27

In a bid to convince US lawmakers to put pressure on Pakistan to take action against perpetrators of Mumbai attacks, a group of Indian Americans have decided to hold "Washington Lobby Day" on January 27. Chairman of US-India Political Action Committee (USINPAC), Sanjay Puri said that the objective of this event is to show the US Members of Congress that Indian Americans and all Americans are expressing their strong support for the victims of the Mumbai attacks and for continued US-India efforts on the war against terrorist organisations based in Pakistan. He added that This coalition of Indian American organizations demonstrates that Indian-Americans are united in the condemnation of the Mumbai attacks and the need for cooperation between the US and India to work together to eliminate terrorism in South Asia. USINPAC and several other Indian American organizations including Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) have come together to set up a national task force. The task force aims at raising awareness among US lawmakers and the incoming Barack Obama Administration and garner support for India on the issue of Mumbai terrorist attacks. Soon after the Mumbai terror strikes, USINPAC had launched a petition campaign demanding that the US Congressional funding should be contingent on Pakistan in extraditing Dawood Ibrahim. We believe that in the interests of broader peace, America needs to demand that Pakistan close down all terror camps in its territory or risk losing US funding that has amounted to over USD 10 Billion since 9/11," says the petition, which has so far been signed by thousands of Indian Americans.
It has demanded that Pakistan extradite all suspects in the Mumbai attacks for trial in India; dismantling the terrorist infrastructure and finance network between the Pakistani intelligence services and the Pakistani army.

a baby was sold off by doctors of a hospital

Two doctors have been arrested as the police investigate the possibility of a child trafficking racket.
The hospital in Mumbai where Neha Gaokar delivered in allegedly sold the infant a few weeks after he was born. All this while she was virtually held prisoner at the hospital because her husband had not cleared dues worth Rs 4500 its about ($98) The mother did not even know her baby had been sold. She had just signed on some papers. The man who bought the child claims he was unaware of the illegal deal. "There was no agreement. I was told by the doctor that his brother-in-law would make the agreement," said Steven Mascarenhas, man who bought the child. Neha was finally rescued by social workers and managed to file a complaint The hospital doctors Harivardhan Bhansali and his son Ankur are now in custody as the police investigate a wider child trafficking racket. Tom's Son Made his Debut with will smith

Tom's son Connor Antony Cruise recently made his big-screen debut in the Will Smith movie
called "Seven Pounds", and while Will smith and Tom Cruise are good friends, no favors were
called in on the 13 ½-year-old’s behalf. So said Tom during a recent interview with The
Insider. “They have to earn it,” Tom did explain that “They’ve grown up in it, but there’s
a point where there is the difference of watching the film industry and, ‘Do you want to
do it? Do you really want to do it?’” Like any other actor with no experience, Connor
auditioned for the part while Will smith and Tom also dad to 16-year-old Isabella Jane and 2 ½-year-old Suri — waited outside.
“We’re standing out in the hall, we were kind of nervous, looking at our watches, saying,
‘What’s going on in there?’”
The process was an enjoyable one for Connor, who remains undecided on whether or not he’ll
pursue a career in acting full-time. “He still likes sports as well as he love to read, so we’ll see ultimately what he wants to do,”he said “It’s his decision Whatever they want to do, we’re there for them.” That much is evident when Tom was asked if he’d support a career in acting or modeling for Suri. “Whatever she wants,” he replied, adding,“I love being an actor and all my kids have grown up on movie sets. They’re always there. And Kate is an actress and she will carry Suri around on stage while she’s with the other actors running lines. No matter what, just like when we were kids, they’re going to do whatever they want to do.” Suri is Tom’s daughter with actress Katie Holmes; Connor and Bella are his children with ex-wife Nicole Kidman.

What is the most important part of body?

My mother used to ask me: "What is the most important part of the body?"Through the years I would take a guess at what I thought was the correct answer. When I was younger, I thought sound was very important to us as humans, so I said, "My ears, Mommy."Mother said, "No Many people you find in the world are deaf. But you keep thinking about it and I will ask you again soon."
Several years passed before she asked me again. Since making my first attempt, I had contemplated the correct answer. So this time I told her, "Mommy, sight is very important to everybody, so it must be our eyes." Mother looked at me and told me, "You are learning fast, but the answer is not correct because there are many people who are blind."Stumped again, I continued my quest for knowledge. Over the years, Mother asked me a couple more times and always her answer was, "No, but you are getting smarter every year, my child."Then last year, my grandpa died. Everybody was hurt. Everybody was crying. Even my father cried. I remember that especially because it was only the second time I saw him cry. My Mom looked at me when it was our turn to say our final good-bye to Grandpa.Mother asked me, "Do you know the most important body part yet, my dear?"I was shocked when she asked me this now. I always thought this was a game between her and me. Mother saw the confusion on my face and told me, "This question is very important. It shows that you have really lived in your life. For every body part you gave me in the past, I have told you was wrong and I have given you an example why. But today is the day you need to learn this important lesson."Mother looked down at me as only a mother can. I saw her eyes well up with tears. Mother said, "My dear, the most important body part is your shoulder."I asked, "Is it because it holds up my head?"Mother replied, "No, it is because it can hold the head of a friend or a loved one when they cry. Everybody needs a shoulder to cry on sometime in life, my dear. I only hope that you have enough love and friends that you will always have a shoulder to cry on when you need it."Then and there I knew the most important body part is not a selfish one. It is sympathetic to the pain of others. People will forget what you said... People will forget what you did.... But people will NEVER forget how you made them feel. True or not, the story makes you stop and think. Be blessed. Be a blessing. Get your shoulder ready.
